Donate to Help Those in Need in the Ottawa Community
By donating to the St Vincent de Paul Stores you help those in need in Ottawa and the surrounding communities. All donations go to the SSVP Ottawa Stores and are used to help neighbors, friends, families and new comers to Ottawa, by providing them with the needed clothing, food and household goods to get themselves in a better place in life. Ways you can help make a difference:
We have donation bins throughout the city where you can drop off clothing, toys and household goods such as linens. Please visit our donation guidelines for an idea to what we accept as donations and little of what helps us most.
One of our St Vincent de Paul trucks can come to your home to pick up larger donations such as furniture. We do not accept appliances but do have partners who do. Click here for donation guidelines.
We often help families that have to relocate or reestablish themselves after tough times either through direct requests or via one of our partners. Some of the items people need to get reestablished cannot be acquired through donations, such as personal hygiene products, socks and underwear. This is just an example how donating money can help.
