Ottawa Donation Bins
You don’t need to come to one of our stores to donate your used clothing, household items, toys and other goods. You can drop them off at a donation bin near you. Just use our donation bin map to find the location nearest to you
We accept men’s, women’s, children and baby clothing. St Vincent de Paul also needs any household goods, books, music cds, video dvds and electronics that might be lying around the house. Some of these items will be used to help those in need in the Ottawa area therefore please donate the best quality you can. If you have torn clothing we can often use that for our rag program. We resell the cotton and use the proceeds to help the community. Our Ottawa community thrift store also accepts used furniture in good condition. We can arrange home pick of your more cumbersome goods. Just call our store at (613) 722-7166 or by filling out the form at https://thrift-store.ca/donations/home-collection/.
Donation Bins Provide a Helping Hand
Donations are our lifeblood and every way that you can contribute allows us to continue to help the poor in our neighborhoods. Think about us when you are throwing away those old linens. Keep us in mind if you are updating your wardrobe and want to clear out some closet space. Some one out there needs your help and those used clothes could be just what fits the need.
Please also remember that winter is coming and we get many requests for winter coats and boots this time of year. If your jackets, coats, snow pants, hats and mittens and boots aren’t going to do the trick then please consider dropping them off at one of our donation bins. It might just be the difference to keeping a child warm this winter.
