Saint-Vincent-De-Paul Society’s Ottawa Charity Thrift Stores Help the Poor and Their Causes
Saint-Vincent-de-Paul Society is an Ottawa charity that helps the most disadvantaged and fights against the causes of poverty . Many local humanitarian organizations refer their customers in need to us, and we are happy to meet their urgent needs for food, clothing, household items and furniture, and to help them rebuild their lives. The articles we receive from donors are either sold at low prices to our clientele , or given for free to people who do not have the means to buy them.
SSVP Ottawa Charity Thrift Shops a community Staple
Our first thrift store opened on Wellington St in the early 1970’s and have moved up and down Wellington St West in one form or another over the years. We have been able to also take over the Goodwill Store on Merivale Road and bring St Vincent de Paul’s special touch in quality second hand goods.
All items are locally donated by people like you. Clothing and household goods can be dropped off at one of our many donation bins throughout the Ottawa area. Please check out our map for a donation bin near you.
